Dear BASS2012 participants - Thank you everyone for an incredible and outstanding week!

The European double bass convention BASS2012 COPENHAGEN took place at the Copenhagen Opera House between August 14th - 19th.

Overall, BASS2012 COPENHAGEN staged more than 150 events, more than 600 participants from more than 40 different countries took active part in the convention at its main venue, and an estimate of 4500 attended the BASS2012 off-venue events.

During the BASS2012 COPENHAGEN convention 4 international competitions in bass playing for both classical & jazz music and 1 international competition for bass makers were held with more than 90 participants from around the world.
