Transport and parking – The Opera House (Main Stage and Takkelloftet)

Metro: The nearest Metro station is Christianshavns Torv from where you can catch bus No. 66 or walk one kilometre to the opera house. For further information on the Metro, visit: www.m.dk
Opera bus: A special bus service is available from the opera house following all performances at the Main Stage. For further information, visit: www.moviatrafik.dk
Harbour bus: The harbour busses, or boats, sail directly to the opera house. There is continuous service (evening shows only) during the hour leading up to performances and the hour following them. There is a boarding platform close to Hotel Nyhavn 71. For further information, visit: www.hur.dk
Car: By car you arrive via Kløvermarksvej over Nyholmsbroen. Access from Christianshavn is reserved for buses and coaches. Please note that the whole area is currently under urban development and construction work may impede access by car. We recommend you arrive early.
Drop-off/taxi: One hour prior to and after performances, cars have access to the opera house via Galionsvej, which is otherwise closed for traffic.
Parking: Limited free parking is available just north of the opera between 5 pm and 2 am on weekdays and on weekends and national holidays. Parking fees are payable during daytime hours. Parking facilities for the disabled: Four parking lots have been reserved for disabled vehicles and three large parking lots have been reserved for buses transporting the disabled. The parking lots are located on the northern side of the car park, close to the entrance to the opera house.
